You Can Find Your Favorite Beloved Animated Characters On A Southern California Vacation
I have been to several of the world-class theme parks in Southern California lately. If you would like to see some of the beloved animated movie and TV characters “live” these parks are the place for you.
We know where to find Mickey Mouse and all his Disney friends-in Anaheim. Check out the SoCal Vacation Guru for useful information and tips from locals about a vacation at Disneyland. Nobody has done a better job of breathing life into fictional characters than the Disney folks.
A few miles down the road at Knott’s Berry Farm you’ll find all the Peanuts gang at Camp Snoopy. Charlie Brown, Linus and the others fit nicely into the personality of Knott’s Berry Farm.
Universal Studios up in Hollywood would be a good next stop in your vacation, where you can chill with the likes of Homer Simpson, the Flintstones and Rubbles, Betty Boop and Spiderman. The SoCal Vacation Guru has a lot of information to help you visit your favorite Universal Studios characters.
The final stop in the character caravan would be up I-5 an hour or so, to Six Flags Magic Mountain. According to the SoCal Vacation Guru, Six Flags is best known for its roller coasters and other thrill rides. As soon as you get inside, you realize that the place is run by the Looney Tunes characters from the Warner Brothers cartoons.
Here and there around the park you will find some of your favorites, like Daffy, Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. There’s a nice area just for small children; the park management has figured out that not everyone is a teen-age or twenty- something thrill ride fanatic. You won’t have to go too far to find a couple of the Looney Tunes folks here and there in the park.
